Technical and usage data: such as your IP address, device type, and the pages you view, collected through cookies and similar tools. We use it to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest, and your consent for any non-essential cookies.
Messages you send us: used to reply to you. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your questions.
3. Who Else Handles Your Data
We work with service providers who process data on our instructions. They include:
Kit (email service provider): stores waitlist email addresses and delivers our emails. Kit is based in the United States.
Google Fonts: supplies the fonts you see on this site and receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
Our website hosting provider: delivers the site to your browser and may keep standard server logs.
We do not sell your data and we do not hand our email list to other businesses. When a provider sits outside your country, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
4. AI and Your Data
We do not use your personal data, including your email address, to train AI models. Details on how we use AI in our creative work are on our AI, Accessibility & Fair Practices page.
5. Deleting Your Data
Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link that removes you from our list straight away. For full deletion, email us from the address you signed up with and ask us to erase your data.
Within one month we delete your email address and related records from our email provider and from our own files, and we confirm by reply.
Backups that still hold a copy are overwritten on their regular cycle, and deleted data is never restored into live use.
We may keep a minimal record of your request, such as your address on a suppression list, so that we never contact you again.
6. How We Protect Your Data
Our website does not hold user accounts, passwords, or payment details.
Access to our email list and website accounts is limited to authorized people and protected with strong passwords, plus two-step verification where the provider offers it.
We review the access settings of our accounts and storage areas regularly, so that no database or file area is open to the public.
If a data breach puts your information at risk, we notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires, which under the GDPR means within 72 hours for the authority.
7. Children's Privacy
Blu the Cloud books, songs, and animations are made for children. This website speaks to adults, and the waitlist form is for adults.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, in line with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Where a country sets a higher age of digital consent, we apply that age to visitors from that country.
If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent us information, they can email us and we delete it promptly, and within one month at the latest.
Parents can ask to see, correct, or delete anything we hold that relates to their child.
We do not run behavioral advertising aimed at children and we do not build profiles of children.
If we ever add features that collect information from children, such as accounts, games, or voice, we will first set up verifiable parental consent as COPPA and the GDPR require, and we will update this page.

We operate from the United States and welcome visitors from every country, so we apply the GDPR standard to all visitors worldwide, including residents of US states with privacy laws such as California. You have the right to:

This page explains how we use AI, how we treat reviews and purchases, how we work to make the site usable for everyone, and the limits of our responsibility. It supplements our Terms of Use.
1. How We Use AI
Blu the Cloud is a brand led by people. Our content is a mix of human-made and AI-assisted work, and we describe it that way because it is accurate.
The ideas, values, and creative direction behind Blu the Cloud come from our founder.
AI tools assist with parts of our process, such as research, drafting, and design.
We review AI-assisted material before we publish it.
When a specific piece, such as an image, a voice, or a video, was mainly made with AI, we label it where that is practical, and we answer any question about how a piece was made.
2. AI Features and Child Safety
This website has no AI chatbot and no interactive AI feature. Before we add one for families, we will:
Tell users clearly that they are talking with an AI.
Build in detection of self-harm language, with a crisis-referral message that points to local emergency and support services.
Involve parents or guardians in any feature that children could use, and test it thoroughly before launch.
3. Reviews and Testimonials
We publish only genuine reviews and testimonials written by real people about their own experience. We do not write fake reviews, pay for reviews, ask others to post them on our behalf, or generate them with AI. When a review follows a free copy or another incentive, we label it clearly.
4. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Cancelling
Joining our waitlist is free and this site takes no payments. Apparel, card decks, and other products are coming soon. When we open a store, checkout will run on a payment platform with its own privacy policy, and we will update our pages. If we offer subscriptions or other paid products, we will follow these rules:
We show the price, billing frequency, and renewal terms before you pay, and we ask for your clear agreement to them.
We email you a reminder before each automatic renewal.
Cancelling takes no more steps than signing up did, through the same channel, with no hidden menus and no required phone call.
Where the law of your country gives you a right to withdraw from a distance purchase, such as the 14-day right in the EU, we honor it.
Unsubscribing from our emails always takes one click.
5. Accessibility Statement
We want every parent, caregiver, and child to enjoy Blu the Cloud. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Images include text descriptions for screen readers.
Pop-up pages such as this one work with a keyboard, announce themselves to screen readers, and close with the Escape key.
The layout adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops, and text can be enlarged in your browser.
Known limitations: our image carousel advances automatically. It pauses when you hover over it or focus it, and it stays still for visitors who set their device to reduce motion. We are adding a visible pause button. We are also still reviewing color contrast and screen reader labels across the whole site.
If you meet a barrier, email bluthecloudseries@gmail.com with the page and a short description of the problem. We reply within 5 business days and offer the information in another format where we can.
6. Educational Content Notice
Our stories, songs, and affirmations support children's emotional growth. They offer general information and do not replace advice from a doctor, psychologist, or other qualified professional.
7. Limitation of Liability
We provide this website and its content "as is" and "as available".
To the fullest extent the law allows, Blu the Cloud's total liability for any claim connected to this website is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 USD if you paid us nothing.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury, for fraud, or for any consumer right that the law does not allow us to limit.
The laws of the United States and of the state where Blu the Cloud is based govern these terms, and disputes go to the courts located there. Consumers keep any rights they hold under the consumer laws of their own country.
